Stayed here in our vans as a second choice but what a amazing stroke of luck. Met by friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for us even guided our vans on site. Beautiful grassy sites and exceptionally clean amenities and the park is central to all attractions. Wait until you meet Ray (Owner) with his dry sense of humor who will make you want to stay here forever. Unfortunately we had to leave for medical reasons but we will definately be back. Lots & Lots to do and see in the area. Thanks again Ray & Leone 14/03/2021

Great location, facilities and friendly knowledgeable hosts.
Grassed van sites handy to all facilities, including camp lounge which has happy hour at 5pm.
Great site for access to the waterfall drive. It’s our second visit and won’t be our last.

This is a fantastic place to use as a base for your stay in the area. Ray and Leeonie are so welcoming and friendly. The park is full of quirky things to see and the amenities block probably the cleanest I have ever seen. Happy hour at the camp kitchen is also a highlight. Thanks for a wonderful stay guys.

The exceptionally high standard of clean well maintained amenities, caravan sites & camp kitchen were beyond our expectations.

Great park, with great owners, facilities second to none and the owners can’t do enough for you. Has the best camp kitchen we have come across in Australia. Happy hour every afternoon at 5pm, it’s a shame Ray can’t sing.

We enjoyed our stay and will be back to have more time with Ray & Leoonie around the fire in the camp kitchen. They made us feel very welcome and with the terrible weather, they where the silver lining in a dark cloud. The campfire kitchen is a great place to to get warm, have a drink and get information about the area from Ray and Leoonie. The caravan sites are large, grassy, well set out, clean and tidy. The amenities, are very clean and comfortable.
Keep doing what you are doing well and we hope you have a great 2021.

We loved this place so much we can’t wait to go back there. Ray & Leoonie made us feel very welcome indeed. The campfire kitchen at night is a riot as Ray has a HUGE sense of humour, what a larrikin!! The sites are clean and tidy as are the amenities, and the sites themselves are spacious and grassy. This park meets all our needs and then some I can’t praise it enough.

Thank you for a lovely weekend, you both made us all feel very welcome. The campsite is quirky and well cared for and the amenities were spotless. 5oclock drinks around the pot belly stove was a great way to meet and share stories with other travellers. Will definitely be back 👍

The park layout is spacious, tidy, quiet, interesting and walking distance to town. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and impeccably spotless! Lovely attention to detail with fresh bananas, kiwi fruit and fresh milk for a cuppa! Leeonie and Ray (owners) are friendly, helpful and welcoming. We have stayed here many times and it will continue to be our first choice when we come through Killarney way. Highly recommend! 27/7/2020

Ray and Leeonie were extremely welcoming and hospitable. Fresh herbs were available in the camp kitchen as well as a pot belly stove ready to be lit by by us or Ray. I was just camping, but Ray and Leonie treated us all as special guests, hosting a campfire happy hour and cheerfully answering all questions about the surrounding areas. Great spot, sealed footpath to an excellent pub. Everything was sparkling clean. Killarney is small but pretty, has most services, and is only a short drive from some of my favourite waterfalls – the springfed Browns and Queen Mary which form the headwaters of the Condamine. 20/6/2020

Fantastic place to stay, amenities were spotless and cleaned regularly. Nibblies supplied by the hosts at happy hour around either the fire pit or camp kitchen when weather not good. The camp kitchen was incredible with so many stories attached to it. So much to look at and take in. It was a great place to socialise with other campers. 19/6/2020

What a fantastic little spot..Just stayed 3 nites abd cannot say enough about how great the owner managers are..from the welcome to the little happy hrs by the fire they put on every night.. The cleanest shower and toilets we have exoerienced ..Allround great park and great stay . 9/6/2020

First time coming here we stayed way longer than we expected, as we just loved it! The clean amenities, the spacious camp places and the hospitality. The surroundings are so peaceful, while everything you need is within walking distance. The hosts, Ray and Leeonie are beautiful people that made our stay even better. They saw us having difficulties to get our umbrella into the ground and then Ray came up with an umbrella base. Excellent!
The camp kitchen is extraordinary! Never seen something cool like that! Everything in there has a story, just ask them! It’s perfect for big groups to come together, as there are many seats available.
In the evening you can always get the fire started in the open fire pit and during the day you can watch the Lorikeets that are flying up and down the feeding area.
While we were still in the surrounding we came back a couple of times!

Came to Warwick for the Historic car racing and stayed at Sundown Caravan Park and Motel at Killarney. We were welcomed with such enthusiasm, & helpfulness by the owners Leeonie & Ray. The stay was a highlight and recommend you make a booking should you be in the area.

The managers, Ray and Leone, are very friendly and make everyone welcome. The facilities are extremely clean and well presented. The camp kitchen portray the country humour. Ray and Leone certainly do their best in recommending the beautiful attractions in the area. Thanks to you both for an enjoyable visit.

Came for a visit to Killarney and found this wonderful Caravan Park. From the time we drove in with our caravan, Ray and Leeonie were the perfect hosts. We spent 3 days discovering the Falls, Tracks and countryside and 3 nights making new friends in the Eclectic Camp Kitchen. The amenities were spotless, the location was only a 5 minutes walk to town and the campsites well laid out. Our hosts provided us with much information and knowledge of the area and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. We certainly recommend staying here and will be telling all our friends. Thanks Ray and Leeonie.

What a great spot, with great choices in accommodation. There were six of us, four in caravans staying in the caravan park section, and two staying in the Motel section. Others who also stayed joined us all in the fully equipped camp kitchen and we had a wonderful weekend thanks to great hosts Ray and Leeonie who kicked off the day with a great brekky. Amenities seriously spotless, and easy access to local waterfall and walks. Close proximity to local shops a bonus.
Thanks for a great long weekend Ray And Leeonie, we will all be back with our friends.

Today was our last day at Killarney sundown motel and tourist park and we were very sad to go. Great area with super clean amenities and camp kitchen and amazing staff that do such a great job at giving everyone a fantastic experience! We will be back for sure!!

Great hosts! newly taken over by Ray and leeonie who you will absolutely love, they are super friendly and very accomodating. Amazing accomodation and camping sites available, great amenities, nice and clean. beautiful homely atmosphere with shops and pool within walking distance. the camp kitchen was great to have dinner with the family, and relax with a few drinks. Perfect for a quick or long stay. did not want to leave!! Definately reccomend and I will be coming back! not to mention there are beautiful nature walks and waterfalls just a short drive away! an absolute perfect getaway!
